Continues the instruction from where the basic class leaves off. Topics include: tide and current calculations, determining corrections for set and drift before departure and once underway, running fixes and advancing lines of position, restricted visibility piloting, two and three point fixes. This 8-hour curriculum includes 2 to 3 hours hands-on chart work using skills taught. All materials included.
